Family Magazine
A publication designed to support families in preparing their children for pre-kindergarten. The magazine featured articles, tips, and resources related to early childhood development and education.
The Family Connections
The Postcard Magnets project aims to introduce families to our Ready for Pre-K! and Scribbles programs, guiding them towards RFPK! website for further engagement. Additionally, the project includes a detachable magnet for parents to use with their children, promoting self-confidence and providing comfort during moments of frustration before heading to school or elsewhere.
Results & Outcome
The rebrand helped drive a 30% increase in engagement and enrollment year-over-year, while significantly improving visibility and emotional connection with families across key wards in D.C. The visual system was designed for long-term use and continues to support early childhood campaigns across DCPS.
This project became a model for how empathetic design and clear communication can elevate public programs. By focusing on trust, relatability, and strategic storytelling, the campaign laid the foundation for deeper community engagement and lasting institutional impact.
