Overview

Sewcially Inspired is a fashion brand committed to sustainability through the use of recycled materials and slow-fashion practices. As the brand prepared to relaunch its online presence and expand its audience, I was brought in to lead a strategic rebrand and website relaunch that aligned their mission with a refined, cohesive visual identity.

Client: Sewcially Inspired
Industry: Sustainable Fashion
Scope: Brand Strategy, Art Direction, Web Design, Creative Project Management

The Challenge

The client needed more than a new logo or layout—they needed clarity. While the founder had a strong vision rooted in sustainability and creativity, the brand’s visuals, messaging, and digital presence didn’t fully reflect that value. The challenge was to distill that vision into a clear strategy, elevate the user experience, and create a visual identity that felt both intentional and inviting.

My Approach

Discovery & Brand Alignment

I began with a discovery phase—reviewing existing brand materials, understanding the founder’s goals, and identifying opportunities to better communicate the mission of sustainable fashion. We aligned on tone, core messaging, and how to express the values of recycling, minimalism, and intentional living through visual storytelling.

Identity Design & Visual Direction

From there, I developed a minimalist yet vibrant identity system. Color was used sparingly to create visual focus on the garments themselves, while clean typography and soft visual structure conveyed warmth and trust.

Key elements included:
• A calming yet modern color palette
• Elevated typography pairing
• A flexible layout system for packaging and web

Website Strategy & User Experience

I designed and built a Shopify website with a focus on clean navigation, mobile-first visuals, and product storytelling. The goal was to allow the garments to stand out while keeping the experience intuitive and brand-aligned.

Styling & Photography Direction

To support the rebrand visually, I styled and photographed 8 garments across 4 themed looks. Each look was developed to communicate a seasonal mood and emphasize the textures, colors, and movement of the pieces.

Results & Outcome

The launch of the rebrand led to a 25% increase in website traffic within the first three months, with customers showing a clearer understanding of the brand’s mission and values. The new identity and digital experience gave Sewcially Inspired a stronger foundation to scale—visually, strategically, and emotionally.

The updated website structure, paired with refined messaging and intentional storytelling, provided a scalable design system the founder can continue to grow with. From strategy to execution, my role was to ensure the brand’s story felt both elevated and approachable—resonating with loyal customers and new audiences alike.

As part of the process, I also provided light content planning and copy guidance, shaping homepage messaging, product descriptions, and about copy to reflect the brand’s sustainable, minimalist voice.

Client Feedback

“Jazmine is a Godsend. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She has an uncanny way of knowing exactly what I visualized in my head and bringing it to life. She kept me informed every step of the way and guided me through the process. I especially appreciated her detailed presentations during each phase.”
